Privacy policy

This policy explains how Paragon Growth collects and uses personal information when you visit paragongrowth.co.uk or send us an enquiry.

01Who we are

Paragon Growth is the trading name of Alex Graham, a sole trader based in England, who is responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the “controller”). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Paragon Growth. Full contact details are under Business details at the end of this page.

02What we collect

When you use the Start a Project form, we collect the information you choose to give us:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Business details: business name, website, industry and a short description.
  • Your answers about goals, the services you're interested in, your current marketing setup, offer, audience, budget, timing and any other notes.
  • Whether you've asked to receive marketing emails.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

When you submit the form, your IP address and browser information are used to protect the form from spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs for a limited period.

The website uses your browser's session storage (not cookies) to remember whether you've already seen the opening animation, and to keep your form answers until you send them or close the tab. This information stays on your device.

03How we use it, and why we're allowed to

UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of personal information. We rely on:

  • Taking steps at your request before a possible contract: reading your enquiry, replying, discussing your project and preparing a proposal or quote.
  • Our legitimate interests: following up about your original enquiry or a quote we've sent you, keeping a record of our correspondence, and protecting the website and form from spam and misuse. We only follow up about the enquiry you made, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
  • Your consent: sending you occasional marketing emails, only if you tick the optional box on the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • Legal obligations: if we go on to work together, keeping the business and accounting records the law requires.

Sending an enquiry never signs you up to marketing. Follow-ups about your enquiry or quote are not promotional emails.

04Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They process information on our behalf and on our instructions:

  • Vercel: website hosting.
  • Resend: delivering enquiry notifications to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile): checking that form submissions come from people, not bots.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365): our business email, where enquiries are received and stored.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the transfer safeguards set out in each provider's data processing terms, such as certification under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

05How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted 12 months after our last contact with you.
  • If we work together: kept for as long as needed for the project, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require (for sole traders, HMRC currently requires records to be kept for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline for the relevant tax year).
  • Marketing preferences: kept until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a minimal record that you've opted out so we don't email you again.
  • Spam-protection and hosting logs: kept only for the short periods set by our providers.

06Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it, including objecting to follow-ups based on our legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
  • Ask for a copy in a portable format, where this applies.

To make a request, email alex@paragongrowth.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to help first.

07Cookies and analytics

The website doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.

Cloudflare Turnstile, used on the enquiry form, processes information about your browser and device to tell people and bots apart. This is necessary to keep the form secure.

If we add analytics or other tracking in future, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

08Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything changes. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
